SIFI provides scholars with life skills especially when they are about to graduate and begin to build their careers. On January 25 to 26, 2017, twenty-nine graduating scholars participated in the Board Exam and Pre-Job Essentials Seminar-Workshop facilitated by trainer, Miss Mera F. Ledesma of Negros Occidental High School.
The two-day seminar-workshop honed the scholars with essential job application skills from job searching to dressing up appropriately for job interviews. Their two major outputs are an effective Cover Letter and Curriculum Vitae.
On the last day of the seminar-workshop, the scholars had a personal taste of the actual job interview with supposed employers during a mock-interview session. This summed up their fun, rich and meaningful learning experience.
SIFI Scholars are about to graduate in March or April of this year. As their college days culminate, their new adventure to the real world of work begins. With the Board Exam and Pre-Job Essentials Seminar-Workshop, we have high hopes that they are equipped and ready.
