SIFI CONDUCTS MEDICAL-DENTAL MISSIONS ACROSS THE COUNTRY

The Sugar Industry Foundation, Inc. (SIFI) conducted a total of 8 medical-dental missions across the country in the past 3 months.

SIFI continues to reconnect with the sugar workers and dependents from far-flung communities by providing quality health services. In September alone, 6 medical-dental missions were held in various areas in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Almost two thousand beneficiaries were reached by the SIFI Health Pillar since July. These medical-dental mission rollouts were made possible with SIFI’s supportive and generous partner mills and planters’ associations.

July 19, 2024 – C-Prime Corporation at Brgy. Pandanon, Murcia, Negros Occidental with 256 beneficiaries.

August 16, 2024 – PANAYFED-PSPAI at CSCI Compound, Pres. Roxas, Capiz with 201 beneficiaries.

September 4, 2024 – SFBMPC at Brgy. Pualas, Don Carlos, Bukidnon with 237 beneficiaries.

Farmers and dependents expressed their gratitude to SIFI and the partners for choosing their area for the medical-dental mission as they usually face challenges in accessing basic health care services. They hope for SIFI to offer the same projects to their fellow farmers in different rural areas.
