Sugar Industry Foundation, Inc. – Visayas Regional Office conducted an Educational Aid Program (EDAP) Coordinator’s Meeting via Zoom last June 10 & 15, 2021.
The coordinator’s meeting headed by Visayas Program Coordinator Neolita Alminaza and assisted by Education Officer Angeli Chris Torrecampo was enjoined by 27 coordinators from different mills and planter’s associations.
The objective of the session is to refresh and to strengthen the coordinator’s knowledge about EDAP as well as its implementation under the new school calendar and different normal under the COVID-19 pandemic.
Concerns between SIFI and the coordinators were also addressed during the meeting. Neoly Alminaza’s retirement after 39 years of service with SIFI and Angeli Chris Torrecampo taking over the Educational Aid Program was announced during the sessions.
Alminaza and Torrecampo also conducted an EDAP Virtual Orientation via Zoom for SIFI VRO scholars last June 24, 28, & 29, and July 2, 2021 respectively. 307 scholars attended the virtual orientation.
