The goal is to achieve a successful peanut-growing business, therefore the next step for the new livelihood groups of SIFI was to distribute Peanut Nursery Start-Up Kits and conduct a Demo. This was led by SIFI and demonstrated by Mr. Carlito Indencia of Bago City Agriculture, covering the 2 areas from Silay and Manapla last July 2 and 5, 2019. About 15 beneficiaries from 2 farmer organizations participated—from HAPAFA of Brgy. Guimbalaon, Silay and from HCARC of Brgy. Purisima, Manapla.
The demonstrations and follow-up mini-lectures resulted in the groups becoming more equipped with technical knowledge and strategy in growing peanuts for income augmentation.
