In line with SIFI’s commitment to prepare its scholars for the next chapter after graduation, SIFI conducted a two-day workshop on Pre-Job Essentials, basic business English and Preparation for Board Exams last February at the SIFI Training Center in Talisay.
A total of 26 scholars attended the event where they were given useful tips on how to prepare for job interviews, how to write interesting curriculum vitae, and advice on what proper attire to wear during interviews. Their resource speaker was Mera F. Ledesma from Negros Occidental High School.
The workshop involved role-playing, English conversations and actual CV writing. The scholars were also given values orientation anchored on self-discovery and reflections.
