Binalbagan, DSB farm workers receive Medical-Dental services

“It takes both rain and sunshine to make a rainbow,” quotes an adage.

Recognizing the hard-work of sugar farm workers, both on sunny and rainy seasons, SIFI and Negros COFA conducted its 19th and 20th Medical-Dental Mission on April 2, 2017 and August 6, 2017, at Barangay Igmaya-an, Don Salvador, Benedicto and Barangay Payao, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental, respectively.

A total of 760 Sugar farm workers and beneficiaries benefited from the Medical- Dental Mission including 691 beneficiaries of the medical consultation and 69 beneficiaries for the dental services all with free medicines.

Volunteer doctors joined the mission to ensure the success of the of the activity namely, Dr. Milagros Amarra, Nadara Gendrala, Judith Chua, Eirene Ayalin,  and Dentists Judith Fernandez; SIFI Scholars Doctor Mary June Cabarles- Señeres and Rochelle Calleja- Gohing.
