During the last quarter of the year, the members of the Board of Trustees of the Association of Foundations (AF) held its final meeting of the year at Jollibee Plaza, Ortigas Center. Edith Y. Villanueva, SIFI President and COO, sits as AF Vice-President for the Visayas.
The AF Board is currently in the process of tracking the progress of its 50@50 Campaign, AF’s fundraising project in preparation for its 50th Anniversary on year 2022. Updates regarding the “LEAD to Serve” program were discussed. The Board also took up the screening and approval of membership applications of six organizations added to the AF’s roster. These organizations were Move.Org Foundation, Inc., Philippine Center for Population and Development, Assumption Iloilo Educational Foundation, Inc., Radio Mindanao Network Foundation, Inc., Senators Gaudencio and Magnolia Antonio Foundation, Inc., and Smile Train Philippines Foundation, Inc. bringing AF’s roster of members to 196.
