A medical-dental mission was held by the Sugar Industry Foundation, Inc (SIFI) in partnership with the Hawaiian-Philippine Sugar Workers Union-NACUSIP last October 4, 2025 in Silay City.
This was held at Hawaiian-Philippine Company Elementary School, in cooperation with Barangay Hawaiian VI and the local government unit of Silay City. A total of 210 workers and dependents were reached by the free medical and dental services. The medical-dental mission was also made possible by SIFI’s volunteer doctors:
Medical Doctors: Milagros Amarra, MD; Monika Pagcaliwagan, MD; Mylene Lauriano, MD.
Dentists: Judith Fernandez, DMD; Camila Paderes, DMD.
The beneficiaries received free medicine from the medical consultation.
The medical-dental mission was supported by SIFI President & COO Edith Villanueva, HPCo Coordinator Rhyan Ivy Gardencio, Workers Union President Noel Ramos, and NACUSIP Vice-President Benjie de la Cruz.
