SIFI ENHANCES HACIENDA BAKERY BUSINESS ENTERPRISES

In an effort to improve the livelihood and productivity of ARB groups especially during this pandemic, SIFI had distributed assistance and expansion kits to its partners who were trained in the bakery business. The groups which were assisted were from ESTELA ARC, La Carlota, Casal-agan ARC, Pontevedra, and Minuro ARC. They received an electric mini oven and baking ingredients. It is hoped that by Christmas time, their businesses will have ample and diverse products for sale.

A newly- established bakery group also received a Starter Kit which consisted of baking pans, baking ingredients, oven, roller, and baking molds from SIFI.  This was the Don Jorge Lacson Araneta ARC from Bago City. A MOA Signing Ceremony with their officers was held last November 10, 2020 at the SIFI Training Center in Talisay City officiated by the SIFI President Ms. Edith Y. Villanueva and assisted by Livelihood Officer Cristina May Poblador.

With the livelihood kits and SIFI orientations in place, it is envisioned that by Christmastime, these micro enterprises of the SIFI ARBOs will be up and running and displaying a variety of products for sale.
