The Sugar Industry Foundation, Inc. (SIFI) conducted back-to-back medical missions in Luzon and Visayas.
With SIFI’s Health pillar, the thrust to aid the sugar workers and dependents in the far-flung communities continues. Quality health services were received by a total of 488 patients in Tarlac and Capiz.
These medical-dental mission rollouts were made possible with SIFI’s generous partner mills:
July 31, 2025 – Brgy. Binuntucan. Pontevedra, Capiz
In partnership with Capiz Sugar Central, Inc with 245 bens
August 8, 2025 – Brgy. Parulung, Concepcion, Tarlac
In partnership with Central Azucarera de Tarlac with 243 bens
The sugar communities expressed their gratitude to SIFI and the partner mills for choosing their area for the medical-dental mission. They hope for SIFI to provide the same services to their fellow farmers in remote areas to alleviate the challenges in accessing basic health care.
