With the declaration of Enhanced Community Quarantine in Manila and various parts of the country, and the announcement of the World Health Organization that the coronavirus is now a pandemic, the SIFI management has decided the following:
1) The SIFI General Assembly Meeting and Election of the Board slated on March 20, 2020 at Romulo’s Cafe, Makati has been postponed until further notice. In the meantime, the current Board of Trustees are in a holdover position until an Election can be called.
2) All SIFI Staff from HO, LMRO and VRO are in a Work-from-Home mode until the end of the lockdown period. They report to the President on a weekly basis their project assignments, revised timetables and homework plans.
3) The presentation to the STC and staff of BWSC of the 2020 SIFI Project Proposal and Budget which was scheduled last March 24 was also cancelled due to the Covid lockdown. It means that the SIFI 2020 SEPF budget is not yet approved. FYI.
