When the ECQ lockdown was implemented by government in March, the SIFI management directed its entire staff to work- from -home and halt all field travel. Subsequently, on May 18 when ECQ restrictions were relaxed, the Negros-based staff resumed office with the “new normal” guideposts. Physical distancing, separate work stations, thermal scanning, regular disinfecting and mandatory wearing of masks are strictly enforced.
On June 1, 2020, the Makati, Luzon and Mindanao staff also resumed its operations. Adhering to the new standards is definitely a challenge, but with discipline and resoluteness, we believe we can hurdle this crisis. We enjoin all our partners, scholars and beneficiaries to STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY during this precarious time of Covid!
