The Sugar Industry Foundation, Inc. has partnered with SIMAG Foundation Training Center by tapping qualified trainees to undergo the Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC II Training. These trainees had very good performances during their SMAW NC I training.
The event was held at the SIMAG Technical Vocational Education and Skills Training Center, E.B. Magalona last July 11 – August 16, 2018. Of the 5 grantees, 3 were from APSSI and 2 from AHSSI. The training was conducted by Ian Raymond Cenedoza together with his assistant trainers Demuel Yunque and Edwin Flores.
This was a significant batch which garnered a 100% passing rate from 5 out of 5 participants in the NC II Assessment conducted by TESDA.
The participants are now fully competent and qualified for the National Standard certification of TESDA. Instead of undergoing further On-The-Job training, they have already been provided with resumes for job applications.
