Over 200 SIFI scholars from Luzon and Mindanao actively participated in the leadership trainings and Christmas gathering held in Tarlac, Batangas, Bukidnon, Davao del Sur and North Cotabato last December, 2018. With the support of sugar mills and planters associations, the trainings were successfully held wherein various learning sessions and a meaningful celebration were enjoyed by all.
Among the activities were workshops on self-awareness (personal and career path), leadership, teamwork, stress management, importance of mental health for students and financial literacy. Aside from the workshops, teambuilding and fun games as well as gift giving were also facilitated that paved the way to new friendships and bonding among the scholars, and resulted to more inspired and goal-oriented scholars.
