AF CONDUCTS ORIENTATION AT SIFI Training Center

The Association of Foundations (AF) held an orientation on the Poverty Probability Index (PPI) and the Family and Community Visioning (FCV) on September 19, 2018 at the SIFI Training Center in Talisay City. The event was in partnership with Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) and participated by 41 NGO participants/AF members.

The Poverty Probability Index (PPI), explained by Mr. Marius Karabaczcek of IPA, is a measurement tool which determines whether a household is living below the poverty line. This data can be used by all NGOs for their programs.

The session on the Family and Community Visioning (FCV) Module was presented by Gina Estipona for the Zero Extreme Poverty 2030 Coalition. The FCV is a guide post for involving partner communities when planning for collective action.

Mr. Oman Jiao, Executive Director of AF, was also present to give updates on AF and ZEP20130 Education Cluster to the member-attendees.
