A total of 25 graduating Educational Aid Program (EDAP) scholars from the Sugar Industry Foundation, Inc. (SIFI) attended the Career Preparation Workshop in Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The seminar was conducted after being frequently suggested from the scholars’ evaluation. This was facilitated by resource speaker Ms. Mera Ledesma, LPT, MeD, MAT, and assisted by SIFI Skills Training & Health Officer Milen Joy Abad and Education Officer Angelica Hebionada.
In preparation for their jobhunting and licensure examinations, the SIFI scholars expressed their concerns for the possible situations they would encounter post-graduation. Ms. Ledesma discussed topics on personal priorities, self-awareness, career goals, and action plans. She also presented some tips on how to improve pertinent employment papers and how to deal with government agencies.
The scholars shared their enthusiasm in facing post-graduation situations with the information and guidance they gained from the training.
