The regional offices and special projects team of the Sugar Industry Foundation, Inc. come together in their annual projects assessment and budget planning.
The SIFI teams flew in to Summit Ridge Tagaytay in November 12-14, 2025.

This year, the SIFI Luzon-Mindanao Regional Office, Visayas Regional Office, the RSS Program and the RAC Program were challenged to produce a creative presentation of their respective project highlights. The modern mixed-media demonstrations presented in the first day also showed the dynamic uniqueness of each team.
The second day was spent for staff development – with the morning session led by SIFI scholar alumna, Kwen Kwen Cabalag, who shared the benefits and dangers of artificial intelligence in the workplace. The SIFI staff were introduced to the objectives of AI, its functions, and models, that are applicable to a person’s needs. The afternoon session was allotted to the review of program activities and sharing of each other’s best practices in the past year.
In preparation for the next crop year, the SIFI staff discussed the possible programs to be implemented in line with the projected budget. Collaborations with different institutions and organizations are foreseen for the next year of activities. With the coordination and teamwork practiced throughout the assessment, the SIFI team grew closer than before.

The SIFI team also visited some tourist spots in Tagaytay City and in Manila to make their three-day gathering worthwhile.
