The Sugar Industry Foundation, Inc. (SIFI) received a plaque of appreciation from West Visayas State University (WVSU) – Himamaylan City Campus.
In May 2025, WVSU-Himamaylan City Campus conducted their recognition rites, Papuri 2025, at Cong. Agustin M. Gatuslao Memorial Center, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.
SIFI was recognized for its consistent and invaluable services extended to the students of WVSU as a scholarship program benefactor. In present time, 8 scholars are attending in WVSU, both in Iloilo province and Himamaylan City Campuses.
The Educational Aid Program (EDAP) of SIFI has helped thousands of sugar dependents in attaining educational degrees. Today, there are more than 300 scholars in the Visayas, with at least 10 honor students graduating every year.
SIFI continues to uphold academic excellence to its scholars through the EDAP and skills training activities.
